A Taekwondo suit, also known as a Taekwondo uniform or dobok, is the standard attire worn by practitioners of Taekwondo. It is specifically designed to allow for ease of movement, flexibility, and durability during training and competitions. The Taekwondo suit typically consists of two main components:
- Jacket (Top): The jacket, also called the top or dobok top, is usually made of lightweight, breathable fabric such as cotton or a cotton-blend material. It has a V-neck design and short sleeves that allow for a wide range of arm movements. The jacket may feature the Taekwondo school or organization logo on the chest or back.
- Pants (Bottom): The pants, also known as trousers or dobok pants, are made of the same lightweight fabric as the jacket. They have a loose fit with a drawstring or elasticized waistband for a secure and comfortable fit. The pants often have reinforced knee areas to provide extra durability during training and kicking techniques.
